For our first date after as long week without seeing each other (Girls Camp), Jon planned for us to go together and support our local single A baseball team, Silver Hawks. Last time we went to a baseball game, we were at the Reading Phillies game on the 4th of July for the best fireworks ever (minus Disneyland's).

Me and my hot date!

Nothing like a hot dog to top off a great game!

*Note: My sister in law did notice a random girl in the background eyeballing... jealous.

The peanuts/cracker jack/beer dude cracked me up... He was spirited... See below.

The cutest little boy was so anxious to catch a baseball that he kept his arm up for a grip of time... One of the team members gave him a plush baseball and he finally put his little arm down. Yeah, he was adorable.

This billboard cracked me up. I know it may not completely be appropriate but it reminded me of, The Hangover and my brother who is now a Full Time LDS missionary. We used to joke around by quoting, "Finish Him" when watching soccer or when the boys played the Wii... I took this picture to mail to Drew for some fond memories... Here's a website link to get an idea of what I'm talking about:

The Silver Hawks Mascot stood on top of one of the dugouts for a while and stared at our direction... The short yellow shorts and crazy bird stare was enough to create an awkward moment at a baseball game. True story.
The game started at 7 p.m. and two hours later it was still in the 6th inning and decided to head home. It was a fun date and I wouldn't mind going with my hot date to a baseball game again. There's something about the summer that just makes you want to root for the home team with a hot dog in hand!
