On Saturday August 15th Little Berlin will be celebrating the birthday of Julia Child. In case you’re wondering, she died on August 13th, 2004. To commemorate this extraordinary woman there will be two bands playing: Blood Like Mine and Niagara Falls. To close off the evening Niagara Falls’ Sam Cusumano has organized a communal score comprised of circuit bended children’s toys, which will be provided for all who wish to participate. It will surely be a sound to raise the dead.

This show will be playing during Little Berlin’s exhibit, “BONE TAILS“. An exhibition of paintings, sculpture, print and installation revolving around the theme of myth and fable. Opening August 7th (ironically…so does the movie Julia&Julia, which is a movie about Julia Child)Runs Through August 30th Artists:
Salvatore Cerceo
Dennis McNett
Shawn Beeks
Damon Ayers
Curated by Tyler Kline

FYI- One of my nurses is helping to promoting this and is apart of one of the bands... She was super stoked to get down and party in the name of "Julia"!!!

If you can make it, let me know!! The Birfday partay should be amazing!!
Anywho, speaking of Julia.... My mom finally saw the movie and supposedly it was amazing. So I should probably host a girl's night out and go see it as well... I remember looking through her French Cooking recipe book and being completely lost. Although, at the time I was around 10 yrs anyway.
Happy Birthday Julia!!
